Castelloland works with objects whose uniqueness proves to be fundamental to the piece’s narrative in each story because each piece reacts and happens through word and object interaction. This series is composed of more than 30 small format photographs and the stories that are linked to them that sway between fiction and reality."
Text by Estefania Sokoloff.

"Paloma Castello presents to us a nostalgia-filled body of work. The collection represents the soul of her proposal: inherited objects discovered or found that have become the tip of the iceberg of her past. These are elements she collects, recollects, and then classifies following a method that frames her anachronic attitude that proves evidence of the youth of her art.
She also demonstrates that the experimentations on herself are common in an artist who’s just beginning her career. Without a doubt, this resource, valid and true becomes the road that determines the experimental character of the author.

Paloma Castello born 1988 Bogotá, Colombia.
Paloma Castello uses her work to bring life or a different narrative to an object’s past. She's interested in playing with memory and relating it to the present, creating an atmosphere between reality and fiction. Her family and social background have a powerful influence on her work. Castello grew up surrounded by objects and anecdotes inherited from her ancestors that inspire endless surreal stories. The artist's work emerges from these experiences; they are evidence of her “auto-fiction”.

Paloma Castello
Castello's “Exotic Delirium” installation where the artist pays tribute to the constant hybridization and miscegenation, to the richness that springs from the intersection of different universes, to the possibility of cohabitation and the need for adaptation, and to the landscape as a historical and dynamic unit... Dreams in which reality and fiction are interwoven, since, as Michel Foucault put it: "There is the possibility of making fiction work in truth, of inducing the effects of truth through fictional discourse, and from this truthful discourse to arouse, manufacture, something that does not yet exist, in other words, create fiction." ___________________________________

"The Painters Project" by Eric Ceccarini is an ongoing collection of collaborations with painters and models that give birth to a number of distinctive photographs. Ceccarini offers the artists the opportunity to collaborate with some of the very best models he has worked with throughout his career to create an array of spectacular images. The Artist brings his own creative universe, techniques and palette, the Model their personality and body language. The model and artist interaction is key to the process. The temporary nature of the painting on human skin is captured and immortalized through Ceccarini’s lens to create the photographic artwork.
Eric sets himself apart from others by shunning technical artifice and working in natural light, outside the studio. This results in soft, velvety, almost painterly images that amaze.
Eric is a Belgian artist born in 1965. He gained a degree in photography from INFAC, Brussels in 1987, and has since then been a fashion photographer working with many of the top houses. Chopard, Elle, Marie-Claire, L’Oréal, Levi’s, Coca Cola, Virgin, Saab, Delvaux, Lowe Lintas and Ogilvy are just some of Ceccarini’s high-profile clients.
