About the Item
'Lariat Motel' is classic roadside Americana 'Sign Porn' photography and Richard Heeps captured it in its original site. The owners since sold the Lariat Motel and donated the 1950's sign with original neon tubing to the Churchill Arts Council.
This artwork forms part of Richard Heeps' 'Dream in Colour' Series which features in Richard's 2007 sold out book 'Man's Ruin' which captures Drag Racing, Burlesque, Rockabilly Culture and Americana, a compilation of Richard's photography, shot over seven years. Man's Ruin the Exhibition toured in over twenty museums and galleries in the UK & Europe.
This artwork is a limited edition of 25, gloss photographic print, dry-mounted to aluminium, presented in a museum board white window mount and a choice of black or white frame. It is signed and numbered on reverse and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
It is available to order in larger sizes or in custom sizes and it pairs beautifully with other artworks in the Signs Collection. When buying in multiples we can offer a consolidated shipping price.
