Born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1966, he is now an internationally acclaimed fine art photographer and Europe’s best selling wildlife photographer. "Over the last few weeks we have quietly been photographing senior American Indians against the backdrop of quintessential and emblematic American vistas. Whilst we will be releasing some of the series in the run up to the Presidential Election, this is not an overtly political statement from us. We know that American Indians have long had a leaning toward the Democratic Party, but we took this assignment on because it is relevant, not to be political. There is wide recognition now that Christopher Columbus did not discover America in 1492 and the events in Minneapolis have accelerated the debate on the possibility of institutionalised racism in the teaching of American history. This is not a discussion with which we want to fully engage, as we are ill equipped to add value, but I do want to celebrate some of the tribal elders I have had the fortune to encounter in the last month. Their pride, manners, grace and humility have been humbling. We have made new friends in the North. The senior Elder of the fabled Lakota tribe is John Spotted Tail. We spent two days with him in Northern Wyoming and he was so excited to wear the headpiece that only the most senior Indian chiefs like him can wear. His attire was emphatically his decision not ours. Their heritage is integral to their souls. The ground in front of Devils Tower...

Edition of 3, plus 2 AP; Ed. no. 1/3 print only Emma Summerton (*1970 Australia) graduated from the National Art School in Sydney, where she studied fine arts majoring in Photography. Summerton moved to London in 1998, where she worked as an assistant to artist Fiona Banner while starting her career as a photographer. Her breakthrough as a professional photographer came with the collaboration with Terry de Havilland in 2004/2005, from which her first solo exhibition, titled Landed at the Christophe Guye Galerie shows from August 29 to November 23 2019 a large selection of the most important works. Since then Summerton has established herself as one of the most talented photographers to emerge in the mid 2000's. Her in-depth technical knowledge coupled with her eye for detail and love for fashion have made her images not only unique but very distinctive, setting her apart from other photographers working in the industry today. Summerton's work revolves around the themes of fashion, love, desire and intimacy. Her Polaroid works are part of a project Summerton started in 1999 as a series of Self Portraits, firstly as visual love letters to her then partner and also in an attempt to re-find her voice with photography. ‘My mother was a dressmaker, and in school, she would make me dresses to wear to dances based on drawings I made,’ she says. Back then, costumes were an access point to unleash Summerton’s imagination. In her ‘Polaroid experiments’, as she calls them, costumes again became a vehicle for her to express her inner life. Summerton’s Editorial Clients include: Italian, British, American, German, Australian, Spanish, Japanese and Chinese Vogue’s, i-D, Self Service, Dazed & Confused, The Last magazine,10 and Big Magazine. The Robin Rice Gallery proudly announces SUMMERTIME Salon 2019, an annual photography exhibit featuring gallery artists as well as a few newcomers. This year’s opening reception will be held on Wednesday, July 17th from 6pm - 8 PM, the show will be on view until September 22, 2019. Rice has brought together the works of 60 gallery artists and nearly a hundred photographs for this salon-style exhibition. From floor to ceiling, the walls of the gallery are a mosaic of various size photographs in sepia, color and black & white, expertly hung to fit together like pieces of a puzzle. “This is my favorite exhibition even though it takes months to curate and a week to install,” says Rice. “I love the moment when a viewer is first drawn to an image. Sometimes in’s indefinable; a moment when the viewer not only shares but reconnects to an experience remembered.” Each year, the Summertime Salon matures and Rice’s annual masterpiece is revealed to showcase an exhibition stronger than the year before. Rice has a close relationship with the works of her photographers, and strategically curates the show to best exemplify the artists’ strengths, remaining cohesively linked by Rice’s aesthetic. fashion, women, jewelry, portrait...

Diptychon: Washed by the moonlight - Pink and Purple, Fine Art Photography, 2015
Located in Vienna, AT
Colorful two-part picture of a model in a pink and purple dress floating in water next to a a pink jellyfish, photographed by Guido Argentini in 2015. PREISS FINE ARTS is one of the world’s leading galleries for fine art photography representing the most famous contemporary artists. With EROS, star photographer Guido Argentini, presents diptychs that combine oneiric images of women, with landscapes and still life. The result is a series of suggestive images imbued with emotion and narrative - traveling from antique palaces in Italy to Tokyo's urban landscapes and the deserts of Arizona. 'Washed by the Moonlight' is almost abstract, seemingly liquid pink light flows through the image. Only on second glance, a woman's legs are visible floating underwater surrounded by soft fabric. Guido Argentini is one of the most illustrious photographers in the world. He is a master of erotic photography...
