About the Item

Title: Lueurs "Gleams " Year: 2008 Black and White silver print on ultra smooth Hahnemühle fine art paper, signed in pencil by the artist on the plate. Edition: limited 1/3 "Photography is for me a moment of poetry that I capture to stop time and he photographic act is that moment when everything stops when the gaze freezes selects and tears off this fragment of reality, to reveal and eternate it" - Dalel Tangour The artist Dalel Tangour is one of the first female photographers in Tunisia, a committed artist. Observer of the world, attentive to the Other, her lens captures the outside world where the artist steps back to better reveal the motif photographed. His photographs, in color and in black and white, that they work in series, show a bold framing, a delicate rendering, the capture of moments suspended in an indefinite time. This artistic approach leaves the viewer great freedom of interpretation by plunging into the image as he pleases. A university teacher, she has shared her passion for several years with her students in Tunisia, Algeria and France. She participated in several collective exhibitions such as the meetings of contemporary African artists at the MAC of BAMAKO (2008) at the Mittelmeer Biennale in Cologne (Germany), at the Museum of Modern Art in Algiers (Algeria), at the Mamia Bretesche Gallery as part of the Month of Photography in Paris (France 2014) and at the traveling exhibition MED'in PEACE (2016/2017) and at the SWAB Barcelona event as part of the Focus Maghreb (2016). 2018 I M In Paris "an open eye on the Arab world". Worldwide Limited Edition Yves Klein, Ours Pompon in resin with IKB pigments
By François Pompon
Located in Paris, FR
Original Limited Edition Worldwide Yves Klein Ours Pompon, sculpture in resin with IKB pigments under Plexiglas, signed, titled and numbered, from 2022 Yves Klein tirelessly sought the essence of art and wanted to expose its immateriality. The artist thus found in sculpture a true space of freedom where the monochrome impregnates the space in three dimensions. In 1962, Yves Klein covered universally admired masterpieces with his IKB blue: the Venus of Alexandria, the Victory of Samothrace or Michelangelo's Dying Slave. They then become incarnate objects, sensitive presences. In 2022, 100 years after its success at the Salon d'Automne, François Pompon's White Bear ( Ours Pompon ) meets Yves Klein's Blue. One captured the essence of form, the other that of color and beyond, the essence of art. The art of reality, of freedom, of life. Important : This splendid orignal and authentic edition was handmade by French artisans out of respect and passion for the living heritage. The work has been executed without interpreting, without damaging, without altering, with respect and admiration of the original work. A careful edition in matter and form faithful to the spirit of the creator. It has been carried out with the agreement of the owners of the works and are also subject to the approval of the rights holders or their representatives with all the requirement and respect for the creations of the artists. Sculpture limited Edition "The Cannon Dancer" Robert Combas French Sculptor
By Robert Combas
Located in Paris, FR
The art market confirms that Robert Combas is the most successful living French artist with Pierre Soulages. During the last two years, the value of his works has multiplied by 5 , proof with the last Artcurial auction sale from December 4th 2019. This sculpture "The Cannon Dancer" is one of the most interesting of his major works from the 90s where he touched on themes dear to him like: battles, war, religion, love, sex, women, mythology, music, genre scenes... - "Le danseur au canon", The Cannon Dancer Painted polychrome resin sculpture. This is a limited édition signed Combas, dated 95 and numbered 4/8 on the base. - Is it a carnival ? a character, a buffoon representing power by a cannon exhibited as a phallic object that symbolizes power. "The moment when the official hierarchies collapse, where the powerful become ridiculous and the fools the only wise respected. The moment of inversions, negations, derision and extravagance. Abel and Cain, Salome and Saint John the Baptist : whatever the time and the weapons, it is almost always the same story", said Combas. Robert Combas love to Deforms when, allowing itself disproportions, exaggerations and deletions, it gives birth to creatures with noses, lips or feet disproportionately inflated or stretched, even monstrous and comic. In this case, Combas flirts with satire, farce, the grotesque. Make love better than a war ! Robert COMBAS has been pursuing a unique approach since the 1980s. His eccentric and powerful representations of the world make this genius one of the emblematic figures of French contemporary art. The artist's work is now the subject of numerous retrospectives and institutional exhibitions. The enthusiasm of collectors becomes more important with each new public sale and its rating climbs which confirms the sustainable nature of the art of Robert COMBAS. He brought at the dawn of the 80s a new figurative painting. Present on the artistic scene since 1979 he is the creator of a movement that the artist Ben called the Free Figuration, movement comprising: Rémi...
