About the Item
Here for your consideration is a very well executed oil on canvas painting by the American artist, Han Jorgensen. Signed lower right. Titled “Becalmed”,(North Seas) and signed on stretcher verso. Circa 1965. Condition is excellent. The painting depicts a tall sailing ship in calm water in the north seas during sunset. The painting is housed in its original gold leaf over wood frame in very good condition. Overall framed measurements are 17.5 by 21.5 inches. Provenance: A Sarasota, Florida collector.
