Dalla serie "Rivolgersi al cielo"
Il titolo assume molteplici significati: Rivolgersi al Cielo si riferisce al tentativo di comunicare con il divino, alla contemplazione della volta celeste, a una richiesta d'aiuto con lo sguardo rivolto verso l'alto e al posizionamento fisico delle opere che vengono rivolte verso il cielo durante il processo.
Sono tele dipinte con un'emulsione fotosensibile derivante dalla tecnica di stampa della cianotipia, preparate nel buio della camera oscura e successivamente portate all'aperto. La superficie delle tele si modifica reagendo con la luce solare, l'acqua e le intemperie che ne alterano il colore in maniera incontrollabile a seconda del tempo durante il quale rimangono esposte. Sono corpi fotosensibili orientati verso l'alto che seguono il ritmo del cielo e un tempo diverso da quella che regola le nostre vite. Opere in continuo cambiamento che invitano ad accogliere l'imprevedibilità del mondo circostante e riflettono l'incapacità dell'essere umano di governare gli eventi che in maniera inaspettata e indefinita ne condizionano l'esistenza.
