The signature characteristics of Funk's style are that each image should be a triumph of color, combined with hyper lighting, unexpected composition, and in some instances, multiple exposure experiments. Funk strives to create high-muzzle-velocity pictures that dazzle the eye. His distinctive body of work has set him apart from the artistic mainstream of his day. He is the anti-snapshot New York photographer.
Mitchell Funk is a pioneer of " Color Photography." In 1970, he participated in one of the first " Color Photography" shows at a major museum. Brooklyn Museum, show "Images en Couleur". In 1971, he was included in the visionary book "Frontiers of Photography" by Time Life. He was also featured in the book "Color! American Photography Transformed." Amon Carter Museum. He has had more than 50 magazine covers, including those of Newsweek, Fortune, New York Magazine, and Life Magazine, among others

Mitchell Funk
Mitchell Funk is a pioneer of color photography. In 1970, he participated in one of the first color photography shows at the Brooklyn Museum titled “Images en Couleur." In 1971, he was included in the visionary books Frontiers of Photography and Color (Life Library of Photography), both published by Time-Life. He has done more than 50 photography magazine covers, including covers for Newsweek and Life.

Alain Le Garsmeur was born in France in 1943 and after assisting the likes of Helmut Newton, Guy Bourdin and Donald Silverstein became a prolific editorial documentary photographer for publications which included Fiagaro Magazine, The Independent, Newsweek and the The Observer as well as The Sunday Times.
