Baltic Pine - Limited Edition Black and White Analogue Forest Photograph
Located in London, GB
Amidst a dense, unyielding forest, twisted branches reach out like silent expressions of resilience. The Baltic pine, shaped by time and the elements, bends but does not break, adapting with a quiet defiance. Even in a harsh and limiting environment, where the sky is veiled in mist and the trees stand in rigid order, nature carves its own path—unruly, untamed, and free. The gnarled limbs, stretching in unpredictable directions, embody an organic rebellion, proving that even within constraint, there is movement, there is voice, there is becoming. Freedom is not the absence of boundaries, but the refusal to be defined by them. Limited edition of 20 Photographed in Lithuania, Giruliai forest using a 4x5 large format camera...

International award winner photographer Gerald Berghammer, born 1975 in Austria. Traveling around the world and capturing the impressions on analog black and white film was always a passion of the internationally successful master photographer Gerald Berghammer. The idea was to go back to analog photography to create images that decelerate, contrary to our fast-paced digital world. During Gerald Berghammer’s master course, analog photography was the subject of his final thesis in 2011. The quality of the images was convincing and laid the foundations for SILVERFINEART. In the years that followed, the matter was intensively studied to create photographic art at the highest level. Besides the craft of photography itself, all negatives were developed by hand in the darkroom. Afterwards the negatives were selected and only those shots which met the high-quality standards of the photographer were included in the portfolio. Due to COVID and its influence on supply chains and logistic and the resulting lack of analog films and developers, Berghammer adapted to the new circumstances and invested in modern medium format...

Wood- Signed limited edition nature print, Black white, Landscape, Contemporary

This will include any custom sizes requested Signed + numbered by artist with certificate of authenticity , unframed Edition : 1/5 Archival pigment print available sizes ( Image size , the white margin is not counted): 40 x 53 cm / 15,75 x 20,87" - Edition of 5 56 x 75 cm / 22,05 x 29,53" - Edition of 5 75 x 100 cm / 29,53 x 39,37" - Edition of 5 Ian Sanderson (born 1951 Scotland, died 2020 Spain) was a Scottish photographer. He produced images over a 35 year career, and in recent years used archival techniques to produce his prints. For most of his career he worked as both a Commercial and Fine Art photographer, and during his last years concentrated on his personal imagery. Towards the end of his life journey, Ian was reviving with his partner two 19th century printing techniques in their studio, Platinum Palladium and Gum Bichromate ( one-of-a-kind pieces). This culminated in a large retrospective exhibition in Barcelona which was sponsored by the Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation. The Platinum and Palladium prints are particularly interesting as they printed them onto vellum paper therefore transparent and bonded pure gold or silver to the back of the prints ( every print is therefore a unique and timeless piece of art). They have created rare and personalized pieces with an artisanal technique. Ian Sanderson was one of only a handful of artists worldwide producing this type of work. Nowadays, Ian’s partner continues their work, she’s still creating Platinum Palladium prints but also silver gelatin photographs.
