Antoine Verglas photographed the beautiful actress Penelope Cruz in 1998. The black-and-white portrait depicts her nude. She has her shoulder turned towards the camera, covering her bare chest with her arms. Her face is also turned towards the camera, giving the viewer a challenging yet seductive look. Her dark hair messily frames her face, creating a contrast to let her features stand out.

Antoine Verglas
Antoine Verglas was born in Paris, France. He began his career on the other side of the camera, working as the host on a popular French television show after graduating from France’s prestigious E.S.C School of Business. Verglas then had the idea that would be his entree to the fast-paced world of fashion photography. His photographs have appeared internationally in the editions of Elle, Vogue, GQ, Esquire, Sports Illustrated, just to name a few. Starting with such big names, Verglas has to work hard to keep moving forward in a highly competitive field.
