Characteristic of Blum's nudes are not only smooth, flowing curves and minimalistic settings - she also offers a unique take on human-animal interaction, pairing up majestic animals with gorgeous women. In this image, the nude model is sitting on a lion's back. They are both looking out into the distance, wind in their hair. In the background, an endless desert and almost cloudless sky are visible.
The image is graphic and easily recognizable in its' simplicity. The surreal combination of the Woman and the animal adds a fantastic and heroic character.
