Michael Schachtner
Michael Schachtner began his career as an Art Director at Saatchi & Saatchi in New York, where in his first year, he won a coveted Cannes Lion Award. Since then, Schachtner has won awards from several major advertising festivals, including Cannes, ADC NY, Clio Awards and One Show, and has also worked for other prestigious agencies such as Y&R and BBH. In 2009, Schachtner was ranked one of the Top 50 Young Creatives in the world by the Art Directors Club, New York. He now focuses on his photographic work, working mostly for advertising agencies in New York. His series, Converse was first shown when he was selected as one of the finalists in the 2012 "Peaches & Cream Photography Awards Exhibition," held in conjunction with Millennium Images.
