Monica Bellucci was a fashion model before she started her career as an actress. She starred in Italian, French, and American movies and was named one of Forbes's 100 most successful Italian women.
Rankin took a series of portraits of the actress. 'Belladonna' depicts her in a crown of dark blue roses. She is looking straight at the camera, resting one finger on her pink lips. The light blue background lets the rosy skin glow, creating a captivating portrait.
