This sculpture is a multiple 1 piece of 50 realized in 1980 by the well known artist Bruno Chersicla.
All the pieces are numbered and signed by the artist and completed by the Certificate of the artist and the Editor who made the artworks.
The black painted metal sculpture with vinilcolor "Volavola" Butterfly is full of colors and gives a sense of joyfull live. His work has been widley influenced by the Bauhaus, the Futurism and by the Abstract Art philosophy.
Bruno Chersicla was born in Trieste, Italy, in 1937. He lived and worked near Milano, Italy.
Painter and sculptor, he was graduated in the State Art Insitut and attended the Conservatory in his town. He exhibited his first painting very joung, in 1958. During the 60' is one of the leaders of the Italian Vanguard in the group "Raccordosei" and takes part to the activities of Arte Viva. In the second part of his life, he realized also some scenographies for the important Piccolo Teatro in Milan. His works can be found in a great number of prestigious public and private collections in Italy and abroad.
