House clay sculpture of urban city row home w/ multiple Black History references

This is an 3-part painting / construction (assemblage) created from acrylic paint, wood, glass, and found objects. It includes several historic photograph of figures as well as many scenes from Black African American cultural history. Each piece measures 23" x 7.75" x 2.5", and they can be hung close together or far apart, depending on the buyer's preference. All pieces are wired with the appropriate hanging hardware and are ready to install, no additional framing needed. PROVENANCE: Exhibited in "Portals + Revelations: Richard J. He has been exhibiting his work for decades, and has an extensive bibliography. "In The Nick Of Time" is an abstract collage / painting created from acrylic and found objects on leather mounted on round MDF panel. The work itself is 20" diameter, framed to 23" diameter in a wide, dark brown round wooden frame with two bronze painted rings. It includes several photograph of figures. Ethan Minsker's descriptors include writer, filmmaker, artist, publisher, and zine creator. His work chronicles the lifestyles and cultures of overlooked and underappreciated artists. He was a founding member of the Antagonist Art Movement, a New York City-based group of artists, writers, and musicians who promoted work by up-and-coming talent between 2000 and 2011. A wonderful example of an abstract ceramic or sculpture in blue, referred to as a bird house or face vase, by Indian / American artist Gerry Williams (1926-2014). Williams was born in India from American parents, and eventually set up a studio and became a longtime resident of Dunbarton, New Hampshire.
