The name of Mi Bao is derived from the pronunciation and meaning of rice in Chinese. Rice is main food that is eaten every day in Chinese families. Mi (Rice) represents the source of life and Chinese culture. Liao Ying Hsi adopted the shape of rice, a solid and plump appearance, and transformed it into an alien-liked figure with full of energy. The V -shaped on Mibao’s chest borrows the meaning of Taiwan Black Bear, one endemic in Taiwan. The bear’s chest has a V-line pattern is the characteristic. V sign is also used as a victory sign. Through this work, the artist would like to encourage people who suffer difficulties in life not to give up hopes.
The broad view of Liao Ying Hsi and the great pursuit of art, not only is focusing on the events and details of the moral evaluation, but on the whole "human" of the original form of life, the origin of life and the birth of life, giving the world the meaning it deserves.
