Nic Noblique is a Texas-based sculptor whose preferred medium is steel. Noblique has, in a relatively short amount of time, become one of the foremost abstract sculptors in the United States. This piece, entitled "Look Inside My Twisted Blue Mind", is made of powder coated steel and measures an impressive 95x88x62. "Nature has always informed my work. Other influences have come from traveling as a teen to Europe and visiting museums, often spending hours studying sculpture and paintings. Snowboarding and skateboarding have been a substantial inspiration in how I translate ideas from my head to the studio for production. Transitions in the landscape; hills, slopes, gaps, gorges, and inclines, for example, naturally translate in my mind to form line, curvature, and balance in mathematical terms. I work in steel and my studio is capable of most fabrication needs including quite monumental works. I have fabricated some of the machinery that allows me to push the limits."

Nic Noblique is a Texas-based sculptor who has gone on to harness a rebellious and tenacious need to succeed on his terms. Growing up immersed in the punk rock, skateboard and snowboard culture of the Midwest, Noblique’s passion for art and design has led to over a decade and a half of notable achievements, installations, competitions and exhibitions. Noblique, in a relatively short amount of time, became one of the foremost abstract sculptors in the United States.
