About the Item
During a project in Namibia, the artist Carin Grudda came across ancient rock drawings in the Twyfelfontein area. When she discovered lions, giraffes, antelopes, and indigenous people, she immediately fell in love with the zebra. For the artist, this animal represents her "unicorn," her mythical creature. She found its expression in the attitude of the zebra. The zebra is a subject that accompanies her artworks, incorporating it into her creations: engravings, oil paintings, and sculptures.
