The Spirit of Man was created as a concept piece for a major 30 foot high monument to be placed in front of the Utah Symphony Orchestra Concert Hall in Salt Lake City.
Fraughton considers this work to be one of his finest pieces he ever created.

The bronze piece is in very good condition with normal wear. With the unaided eye there are no apparent issues.
