Overwhelmed by the outbursts of terror and violence that have been recently taking place on the streets across the world, Huang Yulong created new Snowflakes series made of crystal gun-shaped fragments that when assembled together resemble a shape of a snowflake.
With the help of a universal art language, the artist hopes to transmit a simple message across borders. There is no place for violence in this world, and it has to disappear just like snow that always melts away at the end of winter.

Huang Yulong
Huang Yulong was born in 1983 in Anhui Province, China. In 2007 he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from the Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute in Jiangxi Province. As one of the new generation of Chinese artists and part of the ‘post-80s generation’ and ‘only child’ generation, Huang is strongly influenced by the phenomenon of foreign culture in China, which he combines with his fascination with pottery and the material world. Huang is best known for his sculptures of Buddhas in hoodies, displaying an exchange of Eastern tradition and Western contemporary style. He was selected by “Complex” as “25 Contemporary Chinese Artists You Need to Know” in 2013. His sculptures have been exhibited at Niubi Newbie Kids II, at Schoeni Gallery, Hong Kong; “Zeitgeist” Huang Yulong’s Solo Exhibition at Himalayas Art Museum, Shanghai, China; Chinese Artist / Marseille Artist at Marseilles, France; The 4th International Contemporary Art Exhibition at Gwangju Biennale Korea, Art Beijing Art Fair at Beijing, China and etc. He also held his first solo exhibition “NULL” in Hong Kong in 2015.

A massive 450 pound Lucite sculpture by the noted artist Bijan Bahar. This piece is enormous and quite impressive. It looks great with the led light changing colors which will accompany the piece.
It features an etched signature. This piece was hand-craved out by the artist and when viewed at the proper angle the hollowed out circle looks like multiple circles. Quite a stunning effect. it sits on a ring of Lucite and has an acrylic base plate. The sculpture is 22.75 inches tall but with the ring, which allows it to be rotated quite easily and base is 25.5 inches tall. This sculpture has a bit of cloudiness to it and some minor scuffs and marks. A truly monumental work by a talented artist.
