Backed by a strong technical production place him as one of the most recognized Colombian visual artists of his generation, whose work of more than 30 years has gone through various fields of experimentation, from multimedia installations to painting and sculpture in various procedures. He has participated in numerous exhibitions around the world such as the Venice, Sao Paulo, Cuba, and Lyon Biennials. Winner of the prize of the National Salon of Colombian Artists, the Guggenheim Scholarship of New York and 1st prize XVIII Hall of Fire, Foundation Gilberto Álzate Avendaño, Bogotá.
His works are part of important national and international collections such as the Bass Museum and the Pérez Museum in Miami, the Ludwig Forum in Aachen, Germany and the collections of the Bank of the Republic and the Museum of Modern Art in Bogotá.
