About the Item

Nana Williams' "Delft Frog 2" is a striking, hand-painted resin sculpture measuring 1.50 x 1.25 x 2 inches (3.81 x 3.18 x 5.08 cm). This exquisite piece combines intricate blue floral motifs reminiscent of traditional Delftware with a modern sculptural form. The delicate brushwork in acrylic gouache highlights swirling botanical designs and a central butterfly motif, all accented with subtle golden details. A regal golden crown sits atop the frog’s head, adding a whimsical touch of nobility and charm. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this small yet impactful sculpture showcases Williams’ ability to merge classical aesthetics with contemporary artistry. The smooth white resin serves as the perfect backdrop for the vibrant blue flourishes, reminiscent of fine porcelain. The artist’s technique brings a sense of elegance and narrative, making this piece an ideal collector’s item or decorative statement. This artwork is in excellent condition and is a unique, handcrafted original. Whether displayed on a shelf, desk, or within a curated collection, "Delft Frog 2" captivates with its refined craftsmanship and imaginative spirit. About the artist: Nana Williams was born in Vienna, Austria.
