About the Item
Instant Moules IV is an elox aluminium sculpture with optical fibres sculpture by contemporary Czech sculptor Ondřej Oliva, dimensions are 240 × 40 × 30 cm (94.5 × 15.7 × 11.8 in).
This sculpture is a unique piece signed by the artist and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Mollusc shells are artfully arranged on a vertical, sinuous support atop a sculpture that resembles a column or totem. This one-of-a-kind artwork was influenced by the stars and the bioluminescent plankton that can be seen at night on certain beaches.
Ondrej Oliva, a Czech sculptor, draws inspiration for his works from both the natural and everyday objects that surround us. He often returns to familiar objects, such as foods, to produce new works that are rich in allusions and allusions. Ondej uses bronze or aluminium to give his works a long-term perspective, so the material selection is crucial.
