RIL Warrior is a bronze sculpture by contemporary artist Walter Peter Brenner, dimensions are 80 × 80 × 40 cm (31.5 × 31.5 × 15.8 in).
This sculpture is part of a limited edition of 8, accompanied by 4 artist’s proofs. Each piece is signed and numbered, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
The acronym “RIL” stands for Respect, Integrity, and Loyalty, virtues that guide the pursuit of one’s higher self. In this piece, the stack of books symbolizes the foundation of human wisdom, while the armor signifies courage. The sculpture captures the warrior’s dynamic upward motion, celebrating life and the strength of human resilience.
Walter Peter Brenner’s work is deeply rooted in the admiration of the human form. For over 17 years, the artist has challenged conventional artistic norms, crafting sculptures that elevate the heroic dimension of existence through classical themes and noble aesthetics. Whether referencing mythological figures such as Prometheus, Hercules, or Atlas, or exploring archetypes of strength, his creations reflect a vision of man as athletic, empowered, and dignified.

He was born in Guatemala in 1965 and is a citizen of Switzerland. He has been a sculptor for 17 years and an artist for 25 years. He developed a taste for drawing and painting from his father, Guatemalan artist Walter Peter Koller. At the Francisco Marroqun University in Guatemala, Walter Peter Brenner pursued his interest in architecture. Later, he pursued sculpture studies at the Zürich School of Fine Arts. He developed an interest in visual arts, which he studied at Guatemala's Superior School of Art (USAC), to round out his artistic education.

Walter Peter Brenner
The beauty and the grandeur of human form are at the heart of Walter Peter Brenner’s work. The sculptor has for 17 years been developing works which go against the dogmas of his time and which exalt, by their nobility, an heroic sense of life. In his sculptures there are references to antiquity, be it in the themes (Prometheus, Hercules, Atlas...) or in the bodies of his works (athletic, powerful, noble). The artist has created several monumental commissions for private and public spaces, the best known of which is the 10-metre-high terracotta sculpture «The Colossus of Inmaco», exhibited in Guatemala City. “Romantic heroism is what really represents my work.
