Randi Grantham was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada and now lives in South Florida. He is a self taught sculptor and a painter working for over 30 years in bronze, clay as well acrylic and mixed media. Even at an early age, he has always experimented with different mediums as an output for his creative energy. Although he has no formal training, there is no mistaking the true genius in the creations. The artwork of Randi Grantham has a wonderful playful quality, as well as being extremely well created and finished. It is this combination of serious fine art, and playful whimsy, within that have won over collectors and art lovers. He has won numerous “best in show” awards across the country and his works are in the top collectors. Grantham has always loved the surreal and abstract art. He stays true to his visions using futuristic, spatial, and illusional techniques that stimulate the beholder’s imagination, his art pieces invoke all sorts of emotions. Through the inspirational force of his works of art, we are awakened to a higher sense of the value of life as well as experiencing the sublime pleasure of beholding the artwork. Randi Grantham was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. From this city emerged an artist whose boundless imagination, along with a deep conviction to human life who creates magical and inspirational artwork. Even at an early age, Grantham always experimented with different mediums as an output for his creative energy. And although he has had no formal training or schooling in art, there is no mistaking the true genius in the creations. Grantham has won numerous “best in show” awards across the country. Richard Smith has gained an international reputation for his works of art, he has exhibited at prestigious galleries such as the Tryon Gallery and W. H. Pattersons in London, The Sportsman’s Edge Gallery in New York, The Call of Africa in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and the Everard Reed Gallery in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Richard has exhibited his paintings at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Museum in the USA, the Natural History Museum and Tring Museum in Britain. He has sold at all the major auctions houses in London, such as Christie’s, Sotheby’s, Bonhams and Phillips.
In 2013 Callaghans of Shrewsbury commissioned a series of life size bronze birds. His works include British birds such as the elusive Snipe sitting atop a fence post and the beautiful Little Blue penguin, a native of New Zealand. His works are all studied from life whilst either out in the field or in a museum with taxidermy. With incredible attention to detail Richard has breathed fresh air into this medium.
