Jonathan Adams Landscape Drawings and Watercolors
Jonathan Adams is a British Victorian artist, born in 1950. He has been producing museum standard hand-painted copies of fine oil paintings, since the mid-1980s. All the materials that he uses, canvas or panel, mediums, paint, stretchers and frames, are of the finest quality and there are no shortcuts or artificial processes used. By 1990, he was exhibiting copies at a prestigious gallery in Dover Street, London, with Susy Ray, then one of Britain's foremost copyists. Adams copies, among others, Rembrandt, de Heem and George Stubbs.
