Margaret Evangeline Wilson Paintings
Margaret Evangeline Wilson (née Beard) was a painter of still life, portraits, landscapes, figurative works, in oils as well as watercolor and charcoals. Wilson continued her academic studies after attending the Royal Academy of Arts through sojourns and campaigns in Paris and Italy. She exhibited widely, including at the Royal Academy of Arts, Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool, Royal Society of Portrait Painters in London, the Royal Scottish Academy in Edinburgh, the Society of Women Artists in London and at the Salon in Paris. Works by the artist may be found at the British Museum, London and the Victoria and Albert Museum, also in London.
