Michele Salmon Paintings
Michele Salmon is a French painter, born in Lorraine in 1946. She was elected correspondent of the Academy of Fine Arts (painting section) in 2009. She was also a pupil of Georges Rohner and Jacques Despierre at the National School of Decorative Arts. She is a painter of sensations, of atmospheres with a sense of the marvelous that seems similar to the Surrealists. Her characters appear through a play of shadows and light, without hair and without expression: impalpable and mysterious beings. Salmon participated in the Salon d'Automne in 1969. She graduated from ENSAD with a masters of mural art in 1970, and she exhibited that year at the Salon des Artistes Français.
