This exceptional antique George IV sterling silver tray has a plain oval form.
The surface of this English silver tray is embellished with a contemporary bright cut engraved coat of arms surmounted with a crest of a leopard's head erased.
The raised border of this impressive tray is encompassed with an applied reed decoration to the rim.
This fine oval silver tray is fitted with two cast and applied reed decorated handles accented with impressive leaf enveloped terminals.
Condition:
This tray is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The tray has surface wear in keeping with age. Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the tray are very clear.
