Rudolf Hausner Figurative Drawings and Watercolors
Rudolf Hausner was an Austrian painter, draughtsman, printmaker and sculptor. He was born in Austria on December 4, 1914. Hausner has been described as a psychic realist and the first psychoanalytical painter. His artwork is representative of Hausner's Kewish origins and his metaphysical style. His surrealist, psychoanalytic and often disturbing creations are unique and it is often impossible to classify them in the usual categories of art history. Hausner passed away on February 25, 1995, in Mödling, Austria.
