In this painting the artist depicts the verdant hillsides outside Jerusalem, the use of complementary colors next to each other makes them appear more vibrant and and allows for the perspective to be slightly exaggerated. Education 1934 Art Academy Teaching 1934-1944 Budapest, Hungary, art in High Schools 1948 Head of the Art Faculty. Cvi Adler lived from 1909 until 1965. He lived in Israel subsequent to World War II. He was an Art Teacher in Debrecen, Hungary. Sometime in 1944, Zvi Adler and his family were loaded onto a transport for Auschwitz. Their train was diverted to Lager 15 in Vienna, and then to Theresienstadt, where they were liberated by the Soviet Army on May 8, 1945.
