Bed No. 3.5 Our goal with this bed has been, first and foremost, to construct a piece of furniture that will last well over 50 years without issue. Quality of material and construction is our focus. The frame is a solid 2 inches thick and is supported by two turned legs at the foot of the bed that are attached through a visible wedged mortise and tenon joint, which adds a subtle but interesting detail to the frame.
