As well as the usual Vases, Bowls, tableware, car mascots etc Rene Lalique made Architectural Installations -some of the more famous of these went into Churches, but he designed a wide range of glass panels for rooms, walls, tables etc. These were not for sale as individual items and could only be acquired as part of an installation. This is a Documented Carres Perles pattern 'Cloison' or wall panel. The fact that it is an unused single panel and signed (they were usually not signed) suggests this was a salesman's sample.
