A rare pair of guinea hens in glass with the scavo technique. This technique was created by Alfredo Barbini and Cenedese in Italy, 1950s. The technique is a mixture of several powders dispersed on the glass service and then heated to 800 degrees Celsius. This creates color and texture to the glass.
