Meath in 1976, John Fitzgerald is now established as one of Irelands leading Equine, Sporting and Portrait Artists. Originally John studied Industrial Design in Letterkennny RTC & at the University of Wales, Swansea. It was while in college that he developed a strong understanding of drawing and design, and the different techniques used in completing a piece from initial concept sketches, to oberservation, to 3 dimensional form.
