Taurus is the first design of the Matariki capsule, a collection of three extraordinary tables in solid Macrocarpa wood and resin: from New Zealand a new wood for Hebanon projects. Identity Matariki in the Maori language indicates both the Pleiades (stars of the constellation Taurus) and the beginning of a new season, a new year. Literally Matariki means reflection, hope, connection with the environment but also a gathering of people. We were therefore inspired by the geometry and meanings of the Taurus constellation...

Designer Stefano Trapani chose a simple form for this superb table so that the natural beauty of myrtle and cedar wood takes center stage. Conveying a timeless allure, the design features a main frame of fine myrtle burl supported by cylindrical cedar legs arranged in groups of three and two. Features Table with inlaid top in yellow myrtle and Arctic maple. Lebanese cedar feet with champagne-colored etched steel details. Size: 160X154X79H. Other sizes and materials available on request.
