Wall Mounted ‘Les Arcs’ Cabinet in very good condition. Designed by Charlotte Perriand in the 1970s for the Les Arcs ski resort in France. This beautiful two door cabinet is made from Solid pine, laminate and veneered lacquered panels. The top is made from a anthracite laminate and is framed by a solid pine wooden rim. The doors and sides of the cabinet are made from a white lacquered veneer, on the doors you can find two large solid pine knobs. There is one shelve behind each of the doors. The cabinet was fully restored and is in very good condition. We have a similar model in another listing. She studied at the École de l'Union Centrale des Arts Décoratifs from 1920 to 1925. Two years later, she began working as an interior designer, based at her studio on Place Saint-Sulpice. Her research and interest in furniture design led her to collaborate with Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret in the 1920s and 1930s. During this time she worked on major projects including the Villa Church, the Villa Savoye, the Cité du Réfuge for the French Salvation...

Extremely rare pine staircase designed by Charlotte Perriand for the Les Arcs Ski Resort in France. Just over 6 feet tall with 8 steps. Steps can be walked on all the way to the top and are structurally sound. Presently, only two of these staircases are for sale in the world and we are happy to have them both at our showroom. Perfect patina to the Pine and a very well preserved white particle board body and a colorful particle board back. Beautiful wide pine handrail that gives these steps their iconic appearance. This staircase has 4 separate cabinets in different heights. Each cabinet door has a Pine knob. The first cabinet is a smaller cubby, the middle 2 cabinets are separated by shelves and were likely for linens and wool blankets while the last cabinet opens up to reveal ample storage with a small clothing rack...
