This chalice features a post battle enamel painted scene with a laural being placed upon the seated victor and a man pleads for mercy on behalf of defeated warriors and a family. The quality of the Renaissance style painted enamel and depth of surface is extraordinary and well represented in the photos. The stem and ruffled feature gold aventurine.
