An Art Deco Vintage Neiger Brothers Dragon Buckle. An exceptional collectible, crafted nearly 100 years ago by one of Europe's most extraordinary jewellery companies. The Neiger Brothers company was founded in Gablonz by Norbert and Max Neiger in the early Twentieth century – around 1905. Renowned for their exceptional craftmanship and designs some of their most sought-after creations centre on Asian influences and Egyptian history. The Czech Republic (formerly Czechoslovakia) produces some of the worlds most exceptional glasswork, not least for jewellery making and during the first half of the Twentieth century the innovation proved to be an outstanding and incredibly special period for jewellery making. The Neiger Brothers took full advantage of these exceptional resources working their own designs in a way that celebrated this national creativity whilst adding their own unique genius to create design and pieces that remain unrivalled.
