A large woodblock printed fichu shawl on very fine cotton from an Alsatian manufacture dating from the Napoleon III period. Beautifully printed with picots and decorated with palms and cashmere boteh. Paisley style spandrels on two sides and hand-rolled finishing. Excellent condition and colours, no flaws, antique like new.
