14k Gold lorgnette tortoise handle opera glasses

About the Item

This gorgeous antique lorgnette is a beautiful example of old-world style and features exceptionally elegant details. As you can see, this lorgnette features "folding" frames that overlap one another. When a tiny lever on the handle is depressed, the lenses snap open into a more recognizable "eyeglasses" shape. the handle is made from genuine tortoise shell and has a nice degree of transparency along with rich colors brown and amber colors. Tinted lenses Measures 5 in. long Lorgnette : A pair of eyeglasses or opera glasses with a short handle set in Gold. ** This is out of our massive collection of Hopi, Zuni, Navajo, Southwestern, sterling silver, costume jewelry and fine jewelry.
