About the Item

Adele Simpson red floral rayon chiffon ruffle neckline maxi dress from the 1970s. Bateau neck dress with a deep ruffle, fitted bodice dress, 3/4 length sheer sleeves with ruffle cuffs. Not exactly empire the waist is high/short, if you have a long waist this dress won't work for you. Lightly gathered skirt falls semi full to the hem. The bodice & skirt are lined in red rayon, the sleeves are unlined. The dress closes at the back with a zipper set in the lining. The dress closes over the lining with snaps & a hook & eye at the neck back. We have added the Yves Saint Laurent 1970s tie front belt, it is not included with the dress but can be purchased in our 1stdibs shop Palm Beach Vintage. In excellent wearable condition. All our clothing is dry cleaned and inspected for condition and is ready to wear. Any condition issues will be noted. For visual comparison our mannequin is a size 4.
