Geoffrey Beene Floral Cloque Silk & Sheer Silk Top & Yoke Hip Maxi Skirt 1970s
About the Item
Geoffrey Beene floral cloque silk with off white sheer upper bodice, front & back from the 1970s. Lightweight silk with a texture, in a beautiful floral print The top has raglan sleeves, the sheer bodice is separated from the silk print with a band of narrow silk ribbon, the same ribbon faces the round neck and ends in long ties at the neck back. Long sleeves have ribbon cuffs and a single pearl button & loop closure. The top pulls on and closes at the neck back with long ribbon ties. The matching skirt has a band waist and a yoke hip front & back, the curved yoke is finished with narrow silk ribbon, it is lightly gathered below and falls semi full to the hem. The skirt closes at the left side with pearl buttons & button holes down the side, there is a hidden button at the waist inside & a hidden hook & eye at the yoke side join. On seam side pockets. Both top & bottom are unlined, all seams are finished. Fits like a size small.
In excellent wearable condition. All our clothing is dry cleaned and inspected for condition and is ready to wear. Any condition issues will be noted. For visual comparison our mannequin is a size 4.
