About the Item

Lurline Casuals, Waikiki, Pake Muu rayon dress in black & red floral bleeding hearts print, from the 1950s. Unusual gradient colour print of bleeding heart flowers, red, pink, white, there is a gold & black shadow print running through the background of bamboo branches. Traditional Hawaiian garment popular with tourists. Band neck dress with a front slit and 2 red rayon decorative frog closures. The dress has 3/4 length angled angel sleeves that are lined in red rayon. The dress is fitted with darts at the bodice and hips of the long skirt which has a deep side hem vent. The dress closes at the back with a metal zipper & hook & eye. Marked size 14, vintage size see measurements below. In excellent wearable condition. All our clothing is dry cleaned and inspected for condition and is ready to wear. Any condition issues will be noted. For visual comparison our mannequin is a size 4.
