About the Item
Lurline Casuals, Waikiki, Pake Muu rayon dress in black & red floral bleeding hearts print, from the 1950s. Unusual gradient colour print of bleeding heart flowers, red, pink, white, there is a gold & black shadow print running through the background of bamboo branches. Traditional Hawaiian garment popular with tourists.
Band neck dress with a front slit and 2 red rayon decorative frog closures. The dress has 3/4 length angled angel sleeves that are lined in red rayon. The dress is fitted with darts at the bodice and hips of the long skirt which has a deep side hem vent. The dress closes at the back with a metal zipper & hook & eye. Marked size 14, vintage size see measurements below.
