About the Item
Ever feminine, this original 1960's vintage apricot coloured chiffon dress, in a tiered petal cut design, is just the piece to welcome to your vintage collection.
The V shaped cross-over neckline, is framed by medium shoulder straps, which sit beneath a sheer chiffon capelet, which joins the bodice along either side of the seams of the neckline and along the nape. The fitted bodice, boasts pleats which radiate from below the bust-line. The cinched in waistline, is set off by a pleated chiffon panel, which gathers centrally in smocking stitches. The incredible skirt-line is set off by three tiers of petal cut panels, which overlap centrally, creating a cascading pleated design, above the elegant A line skirt, which sits beneath the tiers. This dress is fully lined in apricot nylon.
