1940's Beaded Crepe and Bias Rope Trimmed Gown

About the Item

Elegant Beaded Crepe and Self Fabric Bias Rope Trimmed Gown from the 1940's. Beautiful and Unusual design with yards of crepe bias rope used as self trim. A cascade of these ropes travel from the neckline down chest and dangle free to floor. At neck and waist the ropes are held by panels of hand beaded jet and citrine seed bead motifs. Cap sleeve design with small center front slit at hem. Side zip entry with back neck opening and is slit to waist. Trapunto crepe attached self belt which can be altered. Small-Medium size. Small neckline.

Wear consistent with age and use. Pls note shoulder pads were added for pictures, last image shows without pads however mannequin has no shoulders or arms so real life effect is more like the main images. Mannequin is size 2, dress is a S-Medium, pls contact for additional measures.
