1940s Pale Blue Rayon Dress With Navy And White Pebble Print
About the Item
This charming 1940s cold rayon pebble print dress in pale blue, navy and white is captivating in its simplicity and is in beautiful vintage condition. A tidy shift cut, this dress features a gentle scoop neckline trimmed in pale blue linen with subtle fluted sleeves capped at the shoulders. The bodice is tailored with darts either side and below the bust with a neat waistline and ankle length skirt comprised of 5 small panels at the front and 3 larger panels at the reverse. There is a cleverly concealed zip fastening to the left along the curve of the waist and hip. Unlabelled but of very good manufactured quality; would fit up to US size 2-4, UK size 6-8. Our model is a UK 6-8 and 5ft 4in (163cm) and this dress fit her well.
