About the Item
A stunning soft peach silk gown in exceptional condition from the 1940s. The dress has thin straps, with two layers of frills on the front and back of the neck. It opens with poppers down the side. The skirt of the dress flares out slightly and gives great movement to it. There is a wide belt on the waist that is detatchable from the dress. The belt has a striped stitching detail around it that is also around the hem.

Early 1930s peach embroidered floral slip in incredible antique condition. This piece is made from a man made silk blend in a really beautiful soft peach colour. There are some pleasing design details on this dress including the embroidered neckline with flowers that look like fuchsias.
