About the Item
This sensational 1960s structured silk gown in deep coral pink is by celebrated ready to wear designer Frank Usher. This elegant piece features a show-stopping full length train at the centre back and striking asymmetric strap embellished with a modest bow detail to the left. The bodice is gathered gently at the neckline into central pleats and artfully tailored over the bust towards the waistline. The interior of the bodice is beautifully corseted with structured support to elevate the bust. The dress fastens at the reverse to the left of the train and is in excellent vintage condition. The dress is petite - our model is a UK 6 or US 2 and 5ft 4in (163cm) and this dress fit her well.
