Vintage 1990s Saks Fifth Avenue Label Beaded Backless Gown: This dress is a seriously jaw-dropping moment: equal parts sexy and elegant. Made of 100% silk, it is intricately beaded all-over, with heavier beading and the top and more translucent sequins at the bottom creating a glow. The shape of the embellishment is super flattering and really creates the illusion of a smaller waistline. The amazing construction doesn't stop there: the side of the bodice is boned, so there's no gaping and the sides sit flush, and likewise, the back of the waistband is lightly elasticized to keep everything precisely in place. A slit on either sides create ease of movement.
Measurements: This dress will best fit a modern size 0, 2, or possibly 4. The proportions are likely better suited for someone 5'7" or shorter, particularly in the shoulder (although chest measurements will play a role as well).
