A transformative dress with a fetching shirred cummerbund that cups the tush and 2-foot fringe that never stops moving. Begs for a headpiece, garter flask and dance partner. Sleeveless flapper dress with plunging back, pintuck shoulders and scalloped drop waist; attached draped cummerbund-pleated sash with extra-long front tails. 24” silk fringe from waist to hemline with modesty panel behind; 13” fringe at sash ends. Pullover construction with no closures except two hooks and eyes to keep sash from coming apart when knotted; unlined. fabric: nylon crêpe noteworthy: dry clean only; hang with sash ends draped over shoulders for better weight distribution alterations: reinforced all joins between sash and dress due to stress of weight condition: very good with one previously-repaired hole at center bodice, pinprick hole at right hip and light abrasion at left underarm (see photos) measurements: shoulders: n/a (16” from outer shoulder edge to edge) neckline opening: 13” across neck plunge: 6” back plunge: 11” bust: 42” waist: 41” hips: 43” length: 44 ½” from shoulder to modesty panel edge; 48 ½” from shoulder to fringe edge. 37 ½” and 40 ½”, respectively, from underarm.
